The Drug Information Center (DIC) of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University, and the University Hospital Hradec Králové (FaF UK and FN HK) was founded in 1994 and its main activity is the processing of drug enquiries from healthcare professionals. The aim of the thesis was to analyze the functioning of the Facebook website with a focus on drug-related queries and its comparison with DIC FaF UK and FN HK in 2021 and 2022. Methods: The posts with drug-related topics were separated from the other posts within the Facebook website. They were anonymized and sorted by the date of their publishing. Then, they were numbered according to the focus of the query and the group of the patient population. The categorization was created based on the DIC FaF UK and FN HK system. Today patients are more than ever informed about their disease and the available and appropriate treatment, due to the high volume of information that can be acquired through the Internet. The traditional role of pharmacists was the provision of medicines to the population. However, nowadays, this role has been changed so as to include other tasks, such as management of prescribed medicines, and promotion of health, since pharmacists can serve as a source of expertise knowledge to the customers. DIC is providing expert information about drugs, such as answering medicines-related enquiries received from healthcare professionals. Objective: The objective of diploma thesis was to gather and analyze information about the informational service of LIC FAF UK a FN HK in 1994-2016 aimed for general characteristics of drug enquiries and professional drug information resources used for solving the enquiries. Methods: Detailed analysis of DIC activities was performed to compile suitable data. All enquiries from years between 1994 and 2016 were summarized into a database using Microsoft Excel software. General characteristics of the enquiries were analyzed, such an average number of enquiries per year or time needed for resolving one enquiry. Aim of study: Aim of the study was to evaluate DIC's activity in the period 2015-2017 through feedback from questioners and to analyse enquiries related to CAM in the period 1994-2017.
